  • Network not workingDatum06.06.2018 11:44

    Hello,

We purchased 2 Jetson TX2 dev kits. Everything was good with the first one, but the second one has problems with network. After flushing the OS, host PC failed to establish a connection with Jetson. I tried changing the ethernet cable and connecting directly to the router or through a network switch. Nothing worked. I could'nt access the web or do apt-get update either. 'ifconfig' shows that a connection was established. In some of the attempts i experienced ethernet connection loss and program crashes by nm-applet and gvfsd-dnssd.I tried both Jetpack 3.1 and 3.0. I was able to ping devices in my office from the Jetson, but not ports.ubuntu nor. When i switched to WiFi, the host computer could connect and internet connection worked on the Jetson.I remind you that there were no such problems with the other Jetson TX2 installed and tested identically. Is there a fix for this or should i file for an RMA?

    Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

  • Plugin connection problemDatum06.06.2018 11:43

    Hello,

I have installed FTP, WebDav and Lan plugins and all of them display an error, if I try to konnect somewhere with 3g and WiFi turned off. Even to localhost (I set up a local ftp-server).With active WiFi or 3g it works normally.Self-connecting through ftp may be useless, but it refuses to work if internet-connection is shared from PC by usb too. And this feature is not so useless.
So the question is: [how] can this checking of 3g/WiFi connectivity be turned off?

    Please help.

    Hello,

Made the switch from bitdefender after reading a few reviews. But I've run into a problem that I can't seem to fix by myself.
I did a clean uninstall of bitdefender using their tool. Then installed panda using the online installer first. It hung during download and had to restart my rig to cancel the install.I then downloaded the offline installer. Installation worked great but it killed my home network connection (no hardware firewall, no proxy). When I did a troubleshoot with windows it said that windows couldn't resolve the network proxy automatically. So I restored my HDD to a previous date, before I installed panda. But other software were affected which created a mess. I had to force uninstall bitdefender again, using their tool. I then installed panda again, this time the online installer worked flawlessly. As soon as the software was installed, my internet connection got killed again. Which is really weird as I am connected via LAN to a router to my home network. Windows troubleshooting gives me the same reason again: cannot resolve the network proxy automatically. I can't even ping my router.

    Please help.

    Hello,

Both of my computers are having the same symptom: sometimes on boot they connect to the internet just fine, and other times they will say I am connected, and I can access my local network, but I cannot get to any websites or get email. And when that happens and I try to reboot, it will take the computer like 10 minutes to shut down. These are new computers. One started doing it first. After much troubleshooting with Dell they thought it was a bad wireless card and sent me another. However, as soon as I installed Open Office on the 2d computer (which had been connecting to the internet just fine) it began exhibiting exactly the same behavior. I have uninstalled Open Office, uninstalled and reinstalled the wireless card driver (multiple times), uninstalled the wireless card driver and installed the newest version of the driver for it (multiple times) and this issue is still persisting. At this point I no longer have any interest in using Open Office, I would just like to get my internet connectivity working without having to wipe and rebuild two hard drives. I don’t think installing a new wireless card is going to make any difference.

    Please help.

    Hi all,

We are currently using IPv4 but I have seen support and reports about IPv6.
But have not seen people using it or networks supporting it.
    Anyone heard anything about it?

    Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the internet.
